We want the children of Bayside to have a deeply rooted confidence in the character of God so they passionately follow Him through good and bad times. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by providing an environment, lessons, and resources that center on the Gospel and teach the nature and character of God.

Sunday Morning

You are welcome to keep your child with you during the worship service, but if you prefer, we offer wonderful nursery care for infants and children up to age 4. Register your child at the Nursery desk ten minutes before the service.

Children’s Church
Our Children’s Church program is offered during our 9:00am & 10:30am service for children ages 5 through 3rd grade. Children participate in the service with their parents until the music ends and then have the option of joining their friends for a time of age-appropriate learning.

We have many opportunities for junior and senior high school students to be encouraged and challenged in their walk with God. Our youth group, led by our Youth Pastor Thomas Bush, provides a safe place for students to ask questions and be themselves. Our Senior High Youth Group meets on Wednesdays from 6:30pm until 8:00pm. We have games, devotionals, Small Groups, quizzes, prizes, time to hang out with friends, and much more. Come and join us!

Whether you are single, married, attending college, starting your career, empty nesting, enjoying retirement, or someplace along the way, Bayside has something for you! Here at Bayside we believe in the importance of a comprehensive education and training in God’s Word and the application of it in daily living.

Men’s Bible Study

Men of all ages are invited to join us in the garage (yes, the garage) on Wednesday nights @ 7:00 pm, as we study through John’s Letters in the New Testament.

The Well Women’s Ministry

Join us on Wednesday, April 6 at 5:45pm for dinner, worship and our next Bible study, Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer. All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

Because when you’re wildly in love with someone, it changes everything.”

1829 is a new program for young adults. If you’re out of high school and between 18-29 years old, we invite you to join this new group led by Pastor Thomas! Contact Thomas to find out when our next Gathering takes place.

JOY (Just Older Youth)

Our JOY group is for people 55+ with the goal of meeting the social and spiritual needs of our seniors with opportunities for fellowship and service.

Promise 14:18

Our Promise 14:18 ministry desires to increase awareness of the orphan situation in our world, communicate God’s heart for orphans, and provide Christ-centered support and direction for those interested in joining His call to care for orphans. Because there are few programs in our area that focus on orphan care, we desire to be a resource for the community by providing information, resources, and support to all who ask. We are also seeking opportunities to connect with local organizations, churches, and city governments to further the cause of orphan care in the Twin Ports community.

Visit the Promise 14:18 site for more info and news about upcoming events.

Small Groups

We encourage you to join a Small Group to deepen relationships with others in the body at Bayside. Each group will be built around three components: faith, food, and fun. The biblical word for this type of fellowship is koinonia. A great picture of this is found in Acts 2:42, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” As we journey together, we strengthen, encourage, and build one another up. If you are interested in joining a Small Group or would like more information, contact Mark Brookmole by calling the office at 715-394-6002.
