Prayer Request From lee brannan

I want to praise God for the men of Bayside. On Thursday we had 10 men at the Bible Study. Then on Saturday things didn't start out like we had planned. Eric could not find his key to the church, we had to call Mark Brookmole to open the church and that put us nearly 1 hour behind schedule, we got into the church at 7:15 with the breakfast starting at 7:30. That's when God stepped in. All the men that arrived early stepped in and helped to prepare the breakfast and we started only 10 minutes late. Praise God for his goodness and mercy. Also we had 11 men show up for the breakfast.

                             "It's All About Jesus"

The Baby in the manger - the Man on the cross.
Behind the silhouette of Bethlehem is Golgotha.
Both scenes were necessary for our salvation.
Jesus is God's amazing Gift to us!

Received this from a friend in a Christmas letter and wanted to share it with my Bayside family. Praise God for our Gift of Jesus!

We're praising God for the healing and recovery of our daughter-in-law, Sam Scott, who had half of her right kidney and a malignant tumor removed on Nov. 22. She is almost running marathons -- an exaggeration, but doing so well. She and Keldon are so appreciative of prayers during this time. God is so good.

I can't stop praising God and thanking Him for each and every one of my family members at Bayside for your overwhelming flood of support this past Sunday both prayerfully and financially! The goal was to raise the last $1,600.00 needed for my 4-month field internship in Haiti doing orphan ministry, and through you all, God provided all that was needed! May the Lord richly bless you for your generosity!

My parents officially put a for sale sign in their yard on Wednesday, it went online on Thursday. They had four showings in three days,
with the first couple who looked at it making an offer on Saturday. My
parents countered today and it was accepted. The couple want a 30 day escrow. They will be out here by December 19th. They have been in touch with A1 movers here in town about the move. A1 movers has an empty moving truck sitting in San Diego right now. They are moving in with us for the time being. They prayed for clarity and timing. I guess it doesn't get any more clear than that! We are very excited! Praise God for answered prayer!!!

Romans 13:1; Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authoorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently , he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

I praise God we still have avenues to help the widows, inflicted, poor, needy as outlined in Gods Word.

We have some amazing answers to prayers. First, we have been praying that Arianna’s passport would come in before we left for our Minneapolis connection. We were worried as her adoption was not finalized until a week and a half before our departure date and we hadn’t received any of her documents. But praise God because her passport arrived yesterday so we officially are ALL going to Ireland.

Along with this prayer request was our continual financial support. We originally told you we needed $12,000 for this mission which was quickly and thankfully provided. However upon David’s request that we find an apartment and vehicle the need jumped to a total of $17,000. To date we are thankful to announce that we have raised over $19,000 for this mission trip. We are absolutely thankful to the Lord and all of you who have contributed. God is truly awesome.

Blessings to you all and we continually covet your prayers

Received a letter from a prisoner in the South Dakota State Penitentiary saying how blessed he was by the "Lost and Found" article on the front page of Living Stones News. He sent his testimony. Thank you Jesus for blessing this man inside the prison walls.

Prayer Request From Corinne Scott

A grandson in Michigan who hasn't accepted the Lord yet was driving for his first professional job interview. Kent and I called him on the road to encourage him, I asked if I could pray for him and he said yes. I prayed for peace and calmness and that the answers to the questions would come easily for him. When I said, "Amen," he said, "Amen." My heart was thrilled. He then reported that his interview went very well and that answers came so easily that he was amazed. He didn't give God the credit, but it is a start. God is on the move in Adam's life.

At 4:15 p.m. on 2/14 a muscle in my lower back disabled me. It took 30 minutes to walk down our front steps and into Kent's pickup to take me to the ER. I thought something herniated, but the doctor thought just a back muscle episode. Got some happy pills and Kami put notice on Facebook for prayer. Woke up at 4:30 a.m. and I could walk again, not good, but better. Today I'm much better. I felt the healing touch of God's hands through prayer. Thank you, Jesus!

Prayer Request From Astrit

About two weeks ago I returned back from Europe and my mission was to bring my parents to this country. Since they have some health issues, my father got sick on the plane and we had to do an emergency landing in Croatia. I believe all the time we were under God's care. We prayed about it, and I was glad that the emergency landing happened in Europe. Otherwise, if we were above the ocean my father would not handle the long flight without medical care.

Therefore, my father got treated in a local hospital and we stayed in Croatia for few nights to rest. I sent a prayer request to the Church and I appreciate that a lot of people prayed for us. We really needed other people to join in our prayer, because I was not sure whether we should continue the trip to the US. But in few days he felt much better and the local doctor in Croatia agreed that he should handle the long trip to the US.
So, we arrived safely in Washington DC and as soon as my parents landed in US they became permanent residents. They do not speak English, and they never been to US before. Now they are in Pittsburgh where my brother also lives.

The other day I talked to my best friend who's at Basic training in Texas. Haven't heard from him in a month and have been feeling kinda down from not seeing him; so it was so great and uplifting to talk to him! Can't wait to see him in March when he graduates!

Prayer Request From Dani W

I graduated from college in May & was looking for a teaching job near Duluth where my husband goes to grad school. I began applying for jobs in Feb/March and had little luck. Only 3 schools in the whole area were hiring math teachers! But, behold! One week before school started, a job opened up at Cloquet High School. I applied on Monday, had an interview on Tuesday, and was hired on Wednesday (School started the following Tuesday). Life at Cloquet has been absolutely amazing. I know in my heart that that is where God wanted me to be. I couldn't fathom a better fit. Praise God!
