Open/Close Menu As ambassadors of Christ, empowered by the Spirit, we strive to demonstrate God’s love, reflect His grace, and glorify Him. We do this by knowing, teaching, living, and abiding in His Word.

1 Peter 1:6    In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials.

Some days are just hard.

For a variety of reasons, there are days that don’t go according to plan. Maybe someone doesn’t do what we hoped, or we receive bad news. Occasionally, we just don’t feel good about ourselves or life in general.

What do we do with hard days?

Here’s a few thoughts…

First, understand it’s normal. Everyone, even Jesus, had tough days. If every day was perfect, it would be Heaven, which is what we’re waiting for.

Next, we can realize that bad days have value. We often seek Christ more diligently, just to get through. Also, the tough times make us appreciate the good times even more.

Finally, understand a new day is coming! Every morning affords a new opportunity for God’s mercy in our lives. Tomorrow likely will be better.

Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Ultimately, we hold on to the hope of an infinitely new and better day coming when Jesus returns to take us to Himself!

May God bless you and your day today, no matter what!
